A major earthquake hit the Gaziantep region of south-east Turkey and the north-west region of Syria on 6 February. Later that day a second major earthquake occurred in the Elbistan district of Kahramanmaraş, 80 miles north of Gaziantep.
We have had some enquiries on how schools can help Turkey and Syria. Rags2Riches4schools send clothes to Ukraine to support them and have been doing so for a long time now. This will continue for the foreseeable future with your help by collecting good quality reusable clothes at the schools.
Turkey and Syria no longer need clothes sent to them, but If you would like to help we are more than happy to donate the money for the clothes we collect to a charity of your choice instead of to the school. Or alternatively we can make the payment to the school as normal, so you can make a payment on your own behalf. There are some details below where you might want to choose where the money could go best.
