Llanbedr School near Crickhowell is at the heart of its village community and organise a large number of varied local events to help raise funds for our school and its village community.
The children have asked all local householders to have a good clear out of unwanted clothing, shoes, cuddly toys etc in order to donate them to those in need. We sent out hundreds of flyers with lists of items required and followed it up with a kerbside collection a week later.
The hundreds of pounds raised in this way over the past few years have helped to fund extra curricular trips and activities, improved the school indoor and outdoor teaching areas and helped to establish a Preschool Tots and Tiddlers Group.
