Rags 2 Riches 4 Schools provide 5 Simple Steps to help the environment and at the same time a completely free solution to raise money.

The 5 Simple Steps that Rags 2 Riches 4 Schools provide to a completely free solution to raise money for your school and also help the environment. Not only do the children learn the benefits of recycling, but they also learn how to work as a team to get to a successful outcome.

Your school has a fantastic opportunity to get the money it deserves. Many schools have used the money for extra play areas, healthy food machines and even new plants and flowers to brighten the place up. Our scheme also helps contribute towards an Eco Schools flag to display proudly at your school.

The process really couldn’t be easier:

  1. Call 01633 235923 to arrange a mutually convenient collection date
  2. You get a media pack to promote the event – Digital media only during 2nd term
  3. We pick up the collection on the set date
  4. We weigh the collection at the school
  5. We aim to pay within a week or two

The 5 Simple Steps that Rags 2 Riches 4 Schools provide to a completely free solution to raise money

Media pack consists of posters to put around the school, along with our Rags 2 Riches 4 Schools collection bags and a banner plus round stickers to remind everyone of the collection on the following day. These are completely FREE.

 

Here are 5 tips from high performing schools that you could follow to boost your collection: 

  1. Advertise in the school newsletter at the beginning of the year.
  2. Send parent mail or texts out 3 weeks prior to each event.
  3. Strategically place posters around the schools to advertise.
  4. Distribute bags in an assembly run by the eco council.
  5. Let the PTA help with their resources.
